Wikimedia projects are advertised via presentations on fairs, conferences, articles in newspapers and magazines, or via leaflet distribution. Project support is based on the offer of legal expertise in the area of the licenses and/or institutional and financial support for those, who would like to run projects. Such [[Naše projekty/en|projects]] are Students Write Wikipedia (in ''Czech Studenti píší Wikipedii''), GLAM, Pictures of Czech Municipalities (''Foto českých obcí'') or Protected Areas Project (''projekt Chráněná území'').

Projects running under patronage of Wikimedia Czech Republic are operated by its members voluntarily. As WMCZ's members are not paid, projects might be happen, just if there is someone, who is interested in them and able to run them. The association offers organization help for such activity. Thus it is a benefit to be a member of Wikimedia Czech Republic.

Despite of the voluntary basis of the projects, Wikimedia Czech Republic have implemented tens successful projects and other about 10 are active now.

The number of members is around thirty. Every person can become member, if he/she legally responsible. The membership request must include the agreement with bylaws of Wikimedia Czech Republic. Between general assemblies the association is led by board and its chair. Actually the association's chair is Mr. Michal Reiter ([[user:Limojoe|Limojoe]]) and vice chair Mr. Jan Loužek (Aktron). Another association body is audit committee.
