Wikipedia is not just a source of information – it can also be a teaching tool. That is exactly what the accredited methodology Teach (with) Wiki demonstrates, helping teachers bring Wikipedia into the classroom as a means of developing critical thinking, source literacy, and digital competence.
A full-day workshop for educators will take place on Tuesday, 10 November 2026, starting at 9:00 at the Regional Library in Pardubice. Participants will learn how Wikipedia works from the inside, how to evaluate encyclopaedic sources, and how to apply this knowledge directly in their work with students.
The workshop is organised by Wikimedia Czech Republic in cooperation with the Regional Library in Pardubice.
