What role does Wikipedia play at a time when people increasingly get information from chatbots, search engines, and social media without ever visiting the original source? In April, people from more than twenty European Wikimedia movement organizations came together in Prague to explore this question. Wikimedia Futures Lab, a workshop co-organized by Wikimedia Czech Republic, highlighted the need to understand Wikipedia as public knowledge infrastructure.
