From 1 May to 15 June 2026, the second edition of the Science Month on Wikipedia took place. It was jointly organised by Wikimedia Czech Republic, Charles University and the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The challenge brought together 78 participants, who edited or expanded 584 articles—365 of them created from scratch—and uploaded 70 photographs. Together, they helped make verified information about science and research accessible to millions of people who turn to Wikipedia as their first stop when looking for information.
