The Czechoslovakia 2025 challenge is running on Czech Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons and invites everyone with an interest in history to help fill in missing figures, events and everyday stories from the Czechoslovak era. More than 20 editors have already created or expanded over 100 articles, and anyone can take part — by writing entries or uploading historical photographs. As part of the challenge, we are also publishing a special episode of the podcast Rewrite History, created in cooperation with Wikimedia Czech Republic and focused on the role Wikipedia plays in shaping historical memory.
