January WikiSchool will focus on various useful tools that assist with editing Wikipedia and working on Wikimedia projects. Together, we will go through Wikipedia settings, highlight tools that make editing easier, and also discuss which tools are currently being developed and will be available in the near future.
The online WikiSchool takes place on Tuesday, 20 January 2025, from 17:00 to 18:30. You can continue with your questions or follow-up work during the regular Monday WikiCounsel sessions.
You can register here, where you’ll also find all practical information and details.
What is Online WikiSchool?
It is a series of regular specialized workshops that were initially intended mainly for seniors, especially graduates of beginner (and advanced) Seniors Write Wikipedia (SePW) courses, but today they are open to all Wikipedia users.
What does Evening WikiSchool offer?
It provides an opportunity to develop specific skills that every good Wikipedian needs. We focus on techniques and tricks that can be used in editing practice.
Don’t wait with your registration – the workshop has limited capacity.
The Seniors Write Wikipedia project is supported by the grant program for publicly beneficial activities of senior and pro-senior organizations with nationwide scope.
