January 15 marked the anniversary of the founding of Wikipedia. This year, the online encyclopedia has been with us for a full quarter of a century. At the same time, this date also saw the launch of the Describe a Monument editing competition, which aims to map as many encyclopedically significant cultural monuments on Wikipedia as possible.
