The Beginner’s Guide has been an important part of Wikimedia Czech Republic’s educational programs since 2020. Two versions of this guide (the standard version and one for seniors) served as essential methodological and instructional materials for course participants, as well as for other events. However, since 2024, the guide has been unavailable in print, and editing Wikipedia has also undergone a number of changes over the past five years that needed to be incorporated into the guides. In 2025, a new version of the guide was published on the website navody.wikimedia.cz, and in 2026, its printed version was also released under the title Guide for Beginning Wikipedians. It is now available as a PDF on Wikimedia Commons, and participants can pick up a printed copy at courses, training sessions, edit-a-thons, Wiki Clubs, or at the Wikimedia Czech Republic office in Building H40 at the Holešovice Market.
