The Prague Zoo has long been interested in the fact that information about its animals, activities or pavilions is also on Wikipedia and, in addition, complete and of high quality. Wikipedist Lukáš Nekolný has been helping its with this goal for several years.
In September, we met with director Miroslav Bobek, who would like to deepen this effort and provide a wikipedian who could work on a daily basis directly at the zoo. The Zoo has already selected one of its employees, who will be soon train in working with Wikipedia and Commons. We can look forward to more quality and free articles and photos related to our largest Zoo.
