On Monday, 12 September, a multi-genre festival (not) just for seniors took place in Prague, which, in addition to the cultural programme, also offered a lot of stalls where employees and volunteers of countless organisations providing services to seniors were present.
One of them was, of course, the Wikimedia Czech Republic booth. At the stand people could talk with our employees, but also with a graduate of our senior courses, whom (not only) we would like to thank for her time.
Visitors repeatedly expressed interest in our activities – primarily, of course, our Wikipedia writing courses for seniors. The most enthusiastic individuals have then had Wikipedia described in detail at the laptop, or even tried their hand at basic Wikipedia work (such as correcting errors, etc.).
We hope that we didn’t see the last of the festival goers!
