On May 6th, from 6:10 PM, a one-hour lecture on the topic Come take photos for Wiki! was held as part of the Photo Club at the Faculty of Science, Charles University. The coordinator of the photography programs introduced the main Wikimedia projects to the approximately fifty students present, and explained the functioning of the Wikimedia Foundation and the Wikimedia Czech Republic.
Then, he introduced the photography programs of the Wikimedia Czech Republic, which he is in charge of, to the students present. In addition to the photography competitions, he showed the students how to upload a photo to Wikimedia Commons and showed how to search for unphotographed places using the WikiShootMe tool! At the end of the lecture, there was room for discussion and inquisitive questions, which the students were blessed with and it was clear that they were truly interested in the world of Wikipedia.
