On January 15, the world’s largest encyclopedia will celebrate its 25th birthday. Since the first “Hello, World!”, Wikipedia has grown into more than 300 language versions and become an indispensable part of the internet. Celebrate this milestone with us!
We invite all Wikipedians, supporters of free knowledge, and the general public to a virtual celebration taking place exactly on the anniversary day. Together, we will watch the global program on the Czech Wikipedia Discord server.

- Tribute to the Community: We will focus on what makes Wikipedia unique—discussions, consensus-building, and stories of Wikipedians across generations and regions.
- Special Guests: No birthday would be complete without surprises and familiar faces from the Wikimedia movement.
