On Thursday, February 5, 2026, interested parties from Luhačovice had the opportunity to learn about Wikipedia and find out what they can discover on the world’s largest encyclopedia. The lecture Czech Wikipedia and Luhačovice was organized by the Museum of Luhačovice Zálesí in the Luhačovice Municipal Library, and its goal was to follow up on the successful Senior Wikitown, which took place in Luhačovice in September 2025 (read more in the blog post). Among other things, we also managed to arrange further cooperation with the Museum of Southeast Moravia, which is dedicated to the history and culture of Luhačovice. At the lecture, participants learned, among other things, how they can personally contribute to the development of Wikipedia, for example by writing articles about important personalities or uploading photos under a free license.
