This year’s edition of the editing competition Describe a Monument has come to an end. Since its traditional launch on January 15, a total of 452 articles have been created and 32 contestants have taken part. A new feature of this year’s edition was the expansion of the competition to include cultural monuments from across Europe, thanks to which the newly created articles are thematically more varied and diverse than in previous years.
The “Describe a Monument” competition is over. 452 new articles about monuments and landmarks of the Czech Republic and Europe have been added to Wikipedia. Let’s take a look at them!
