Wikimedia Czech Republic invites librarians and information professionals to a webinar focused on copyright issues related to the use of images, photographs and videos from the internet.
The webinar takes place on Monday, 15 June 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 online via Zoom. The lecturer is Pavel Bednařík (Wikimedia Czech Republic). The link will be sent to registered participants.
You will learn how Creative Commons licences work, where to find freely usable content, and what exceptions to copyright law apply to publicly available works. The webinar will also cover licensing issues related to the use of AI tools for creating images and videos (ChatGPT, Canva, Gemini, etc.). Answers to specific practical questions will be provided – if you already have a question, please check autorskepravo.wikimedia.cz first, and if you don’t find it there, add it to the registration form.
The webinar is intended primarily for librarians, administrators and information professionals, but is open to anyone interested in free licences and copyright.
