Community minigrants are our support for active members of the Czech community around Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. All active members of the community who have the energy and desire to organize events for the community and the public can apply for our support. We will provide you with funding, tips, help with promotion or equipment rental to make your project a reality.
As of 2019, 11 projects have already been successfully delivered by Community Mini Grants and we have supported them with nearly £60,000 in total. A big thank you to the volunteer organisers who have stepped up to make them happen. Last year we supported, for example, the Photographic Wikipedia Walk from Srubec, the Prague Wikiclub and the traditionally successful projects Describe a Memory and Asian Wikipedia Month.
